Weekly Report 5

             Weekly Teaching Practice Report

                 02/09/2024 - 06/09/2024

It was my fifth week in the school as a trainee with more experiences. The Onam examination isn't far away; therefore, a last-minute revision marathon was held to refresh their memories. Since there are only three test halls, exam duty was distributed among the teacher trainees on different days. I have duty on the second day of exam, Tuesday ( 03/09/2024). It was my first shift as an invigilator for the exam. I arrived at the exam Hall early and prepared for the exam.

I began my duties immediately as the first bell rang, which included checking attendance, arranging the students according to their roll numbers and handing out question papers and answer sheets. Students began writing the exam as the second bell rang. I monitor everyone to make sure they abided by the regulations and didn't possess any illegal materials. After the test was over, there was a meticulous procedure to collect answer sheets and make sure everything was there. It was a day filled with constant movement and attention to detail.

Teachers' Day can be a special and fulfilling experience for teachers. It's often students expressing their appreciation and love for their teachers on that day. Our school celebrated Teacher's Day on 5th September with great enthusiasm. The entire program was organised by the students. They were given handmade cards for all the teachers and staff as a token of appreciation. Our beloved principal inaugurated the program by giving a note on Teachers Day and acknowledging them for putting sincere effort in every day. Some of the students expressed their gratitude. Teachers Day helps the teachers to acknowledge their role in shaping students lives. The day generally makes teachers feel appreciated and lovable. This day makes me special; it was my first Teacher's Day as a teacher. For the very first time in life, I received cards and words of gratitude on Teachers Day. I will always hold those priceless memories near and dear.
