Weekly Report 4

Education is not the filling of a pot but the lighting of a fire." —W.B. Yeats

This was the fourth week, and with examinations approaching, it turned out to be a rather hectic one as everyone was focused on completing the syllabus. Due to public holidays, there weren’t many working days this week, but I managed to get three days of class. During this time, I successfully completed the portions for the 8th standard.

I continued teaching the same chapter, and the pupils remained highly active and eager to engage with the story. To make the lessons more effective, I incorporated various activities for teaching grammar, and the students responded enthusiastically to the scaffolding questions. Their active participation gave me a deep sense of satisfaction.

As usual, the teacher trainees were assigned duties for organizing the IT Quiz and the Janayugam Sahapadi Quiz.
